Lega Pro Prima Divisione - A 
On July 19th, 2011 also Atletico Roma (3rd in LPPD Girone B) and Ravenna (14th in LPPD Girone A) were excluded from Lega Pro. Atletico Roma ceased the football activity. Ravenna will continue playing in Serie D (5th Division).
On August 4th, 2011 the five vacancies created were filled by the following teams:
- Sudtirol AltoAdige (17th in LPPD Girone A), relegated to Lega Pro Seconda Divisione LPSD after losing Playouts
- Ternana (15th in LPPD Girone B), relegated to Seconda Divisione after losing Playouts
- Pro Vercelli (3rd in LPSD Girone A, Playoff semifinal lost against Pro Patria)
- Prato (3rd in LPSD Girone B, Playoff final lost against Carrarese)
- Avellino (4th in LPSD Girone C, Playoff final lost against Trapani)
On August 9th, 2011 Alessandria were relegated to Lega Pro Seconda Divisione by Italian Federal Committee for match-fixing. Monza (16th in LPPD Girone A, relegated after losing Playouts) regained Prima Divisione to replace Alessandria.
