    GENOA-PARMA POSTPONED

Lega Serie A have released a statement confirming that Genoa-Parma will be postponed to a date yet to be determined.

On from FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio announcing the news earlier on today, the Lega now made it official on their website.

“We considered the joint petition presented by the Italian Footballers Union (AIC) and the Italian Association of Football Coaches (AIAC), requesting a postponement of the Serie A Genoa-Parma match scheduled for March 1, 2015,” reads the statement.

“We considered the extraordinary situation relative to Parma FC.

“Lastly, we considered the possibility of admitting the petition from the above-mentioned bodies.

“Given all these factors, the federal President
[Carlo Tavecchio] rules in favour of postponing the Serie A Genoa-Parma match from March 1 to another date that will be scheduled by the Lega Nazionale of Italian Professionals.”
