    System construction was especially obvious when Liverpool lost possession in the Roma half. In each case, in few seconds they formed three clear defensive lines: line one, highest (3 forwards) - line two, central (3 midfielders) - line three, defensive (4 defenders).

    Jayhazz - Thank you, I appreciate your position, but even the fact Firmino also helps his team defending does not deny him centre-forward status. The same for wingers.

    To also go further you can see Salah and Mane helping out on the wings defensively which would put them a little further back then just a front 3

    Alandrew - Thank you for the response. As you can see the positions have been moved to reflect the positions of the players that you described. The positions may not reflect as described but the field positions of the players do.

    Dear friends,
    With deep regret I must say that Liverpool lineup in this match, as well as in most part of 2017/2018 season, was absolutely 433:
    - three-man midfield with, i.e., Henderson as holding midfielder, O-Chamberlain in advanced role to his right, Milner in advanced role to his left;
    - three-man attack with Salah as right winger, Firmino as centre forward and Mane as left winger.
    Naming Salah and Mane midfielders in this lineup is an extremely strange idea, having very little in common with reality.
    Yours sincerely,
