219.89.179.211 - 25-May-10 09:29 about Shameful refereeing at the New Zealand v Australia friendly match. Salazar let 2 blatant attacks on Leo Bertos pass with only yellow card when expulsions were in order. Australia played it like it was rugby, very dirty game. The Aussie coach even apologized afterward and chastised his team, saying that if it were in the World Cup they would not have gotten away with it. |
203.97.202.191 - 25-May-10 03:00 about What a complete disgrace of a referee! There were three red card tackles in which only two received yellow cards. The game was completely dictated by a ref that lacked the ability to punish cowardly tackles. There is no way Ricardo Salazar should be allowed to ref at this level, it was evident that he was out of his league on too many occasions. Even a friendly means too much |
eccy - 24-May-10 12:28 Goal-keepers were allowed to be additional substitutes for the game. Brad JONES replaced Adam FEDERICI (AUSTRALIA) in the 46th minute. |
