    Brazil played a very fluid 4-2-3-1 with the 3 attacking midfielders interchanging positions, Robinho and Neymar frequently switched wings. When Fred came on for Robinho he played up front with Pato coming across to the right wing.

    Venezuela played a standard 4-4-2 with Miku at times dropping deeper to link with the midfield. Gonzalez also had quite a free role, often drifting inside to get on the ball and add some needed creativity.
