90.244.232.152 - 15-Oct-19 15:36 Millwall - Leeds This ref spoiled Millwall V Leeds Utd game, sending off a Leeds player and gave Millwall a pen. Replays show that there was a clear dive for the pen and shouldn t have been a red card. Linington has refereed Leeds 4 times and set off a Leeds player in every match. He should be banned from refereeing Leeds games in future. He s a Man Utd fan.

Only saw about 30% of the pitch for the first half and then as the fog cleared he abandon the game. So all the fans have to pay 50% to watch the game again. Thank you Mr Linington. Presumably he is either a ref who is easily swayed by the home team or a West Brom supporter. His decisions bordered between bizarre and outrageous. Hopefully he will be exiled on the IOW as the cup final there is, no doubt, his limit. The Football League must be hard up for refs if they put up with him much longer. I always maintain that the better the ref the less you notice him during the game. No chance of missing Mr Linington however!

And further more, is it not a little bit funny that the only players moaning were from swansea, the only fans moaning were from swansea, and the only manager moaning was from Swansea, yet again another set of fickel fans speak. After watching your very dismal performance at the Swansea City V Scunthorpe United tie in the carling Cup this evening (25/8/09) , I think you should be stripped of your Referee s badge. How can you force a team to put a player back onto a field of play when he has left injured and that leaves a team down to 6 YES SIX, fit players? Do you not know the rules to the FA s rule book?
