real mad Disgusting performance, and this is coming from a fan of the winning team, made a lot of mistakes and had no consistency, was honestly one of the worst refereeing performances I have ever seen!

I have to say I was nervous having read the comments below but either he has improved dramatically over te summer or he just had a poor game at your match. He looked every bit a Premier League referee last night. Never seen players smile as much with a referee and that is always a good sign of respect for me. No dissent from anybody. His decision making was good and there were handshakes from every man and his dog at the end of the game which is always a good sign. Fair play to the young man, only had one viewing of him but one of the best at this level from what I saw last night

This guy has to be the worst referee ever, I though Stuart Atwell was but now Madley has taken his crown. He had a nightmare of a match, I would even go as far to say he is a cheat. He could not make a correct decision all afternoon, he is fussy did not allow the game to flow, stopped the game instead of allowing advantage, slowed every free kick and corner down by him wanting to be centre of attraction (only take it when I am ready)and the Stoke equaliser, first he gave a free kick on the half way line against Bony, a challenge which was fair and square, then he gave handball against Rangell when it hit him on the chest, then from the corner which Stoke took quickly he made them retake it because he wanted to have a word with Routledge and N;Zongi, then he saw a handball that no one else not even the Stoke players appealed for. I think he had it in for Routledge because he took so long to walk back to him to be booked a short while earlier. He is either a cheat or very incompetent, I hope its the latter. He should come out and apologise to everyone Stoke are the dirtiest team I ever seen, based on a number of games, yet they have two players booked when they have been hacking and restling our players and we have three booked for dissent??and we have three

I don t believe Robert Madley is at a standard to referee Premiership matches. We all make mistakes in life, but he was the only one to see a penalty in the Swansea v Stoke match. Mark Hughes the Stoke manager even had the grace to admit it. I would like him to answer the question what he saw, very suspicious to me. He should not referee above 1st division, and I don t know if he is up to that.

    Not.Forest - Derby
Robert Madley struggled to control the players in this game in front of the cameras this game was too big for him. Why was he selected for this game the day safter refereeing Middlesbrough Saturday, when there was only one premier league game on Sunday, surely a more experienced official could have been selected? The fa are to blame for producing a poor spectacle of officiating a football match, thanks again!

    Not.Forest - Derby
I just watched the Nottm Forest v Derby match and I was just wondering how much Madley accepted from Derby to to make sure they won?? His performance was absolutely disgraceful, which is an understatement. Derby committed at least five dirty, dirty fouls which should have been carded in the first twenty minutes and he let every single one go with no punishment; sometimes not even a foul was given! Then he sent off Blackstock for a challenge that was nowhere near as dirty as a dozen fouls that Derby had committed. Maybe Derby didn t pay him; maybe he just had a bet on the game.

    Gillinghm - Shrewsbry
Having watched Gillingham v Shrewsbury Town yesterday, I think the following passage (on a neutral website!) accurately sums up his performance:

The referee, Rob Madley, had a mixed afternoon, as some of his decisions were frankly unfathomable. He booked seven, gave two penalties (one suspect), sent the Gillingham physio to the stands, should have sent off Cansdell-Sheriff, upset both sets of fans and found six minutes of added time on his watch at the end.
