84.203.146.2 - 06-Nov-10 14:39 wow.. was just googling this guy and found this site. was at a game last weekend with my boyfriend and this guy was ref.. i watched from the car because of the heavy rain. thought he was fitter than the players, including my boyfriend heard all the rumours at half time about being worst ref etc etc. at work on monday was talking with the girls during coffee about the weekend blah blah. mentioned his name and was amazed at how many of them knew about him. heard he was 45 but shocked if he is.heard lots of stories about him being good to charity, even heard that he gives young mascots money before kick off time.. nice touch. any body know how i cud get in touch?
84.203.146.2 - 06-Nov-10 14:06 met this ref in a restaurant once. had a fascinating conversation with him about his controversial decisions. claims he calls every thing as he sees it. has ba**s to make unpopular decisions. very factual about rules of the game. have to say, very pleasent guy and easy to speak to. took the questions light hearthily. after he left, our party stayed for about another 30 mins. when we went to pay our bill, almost 150 euro, he had paid for it.

92.0.194.96 - 21-Mar-09 00:03 This man is the worst ref in the Irish game. Has been involved in so much controversy within our game it s amazing he s still on the UEFA list. Lovingly known as the jersey referee, refers to a game where he decided 5 mins before kick off that a teams away kit clashed with the home kit. Had an absolute shocking game then in the 2008 FAI cup final giving a penalty that never was and other decisions too many and stupid to mention.
